Neurofascial Reset (NFR) is a movement based therapeutic technique that addresses the nervous system’s role in alleviating pain, tension, and restrictions in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.

Every session is a combination of examination and treatment. The therapist uses their hands to evaluate the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Painful areas are treated by combining precise tension with very specific patient movements. It may be uncomfortable during the movement phase of treatment. This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function and eliminate pain.

Clients choose NFR because of the rapid response to treatment. Treating the body at the neurological level stimulates a reprogramming of the tissue. Tight muscles relax, range of motion is restored, and pain is eliminated. This helps individuals quickly get back to normal life.

Conditions treated with NFR include:
Shoulder pain Sciatica
Headaches and Migraines Plantar Fasciitis
Back pain Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Tennis and Golfer's Elbow Shin Splints
Whiplash Pelvic pain
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder Strains and Sprains
Baker's Cyst Frozen Shoulder

Stretching is an underutilized tool in massage therapy. It enhances flexibility, reduces muscle tension, and improves circulation, which means less discomfort and more freedom of movement. Regular stretching helps prevent injuries, boosts your posture, and even supports stress management. Stretching is the perfect way to keep your body in top shape.

Stretching should only be performed on a muscle that is warmed up. Stretch therapy sessions start with a combination of table warmer, heating pads, and massage to warm up the muscles followed by assisted stretching working within your comfort level. These sessions are performed over the clothes, and workout clothing that will allow for unrestricted movement is recommended.

Although stretch therapy sessions are a great way to improve mobility and muscle health, incorporating stretching into a general massage treatment is also a great option. Just mention at your appointment that you would like to include stretching.
